About the Role
What if your years of advanced biology training could directly shape how AI understands genetics, biotechnology, and the life sciences—influencing research tools used by scientists worldwide?
We are looking for Biology experts with graduate-level credentials to help build and refine cutting-edge AI models. Your scientific expertise will drive the creation, solving, and evaluation of complex biological problems that push AI reasoning to its extremes.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience is required—just deep domain knowledge and a commitment to scientific rigor.

What You’ll Do
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines to design complex nuanced problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen model reasoning
- Ensure scientific rigor and precision across all deliverables

Who You Are
Essential requirements:
- Master’s or PhD in Biology (or closely related field) – Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, or equivalent experience
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following:
- Genetics
- Biotechnology
- Bioinformatics
- Comfortable working with Python or R in a research or analytical context
- Exceptionally clear communicator—can explain complex science without sacrificing accuracy
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated when working independently
- Fluent in English

Nice-to-have expertise:
- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in academic research, scientific publishing, or technical writing
- Familiarity with computational biology tools or bioinformatics pipelines
- Experience designing or grading advanced biology coursework or assessments
