Biology Masters – AI Data Trainer
About The Role
We're looking for Masters-level biology professionals to help train and improve the next generation of AI models. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs — and we need sharp scientific minds to help AI think more rigorously about biology.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your academic expertise directly shapes how AI understands complex biological concepts. No prior AI experience required.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Design challenging, graduate-level biology problems to rigorously test AI performance
- Develop clear, logically structured solutions that reflect strong scientific reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
- Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level biology topics
- Provide structured written feedback to help AI models improve over time

Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong command of advanced biology concepts with the ability to reason through complex problems
- Excellent written communication skills — you can explain difficult ideas clearly and precisely
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, comfortable working independently and asynchronously
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required

Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows
- Familiarity with molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, or systems biology at an advanced level
- Background in academic research or scientific writing
