About the Role
Your expertise in biology could shape how AI reasons through complex problems in genetics, biotechnology, and bioinformatics. We seek Masters- and PhD-level biologists to develop, refine, and evaluate cutting-edge AI models.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role for researchers and experts who want to apply scientific knowledge to high-impact AI projects—no prior AI training required. Your domain expertise is all that matters.

What You’ll Do
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply deep knowledge in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to create rigorous, complex problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning and outputs for accuracy, depth, and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to advance AI’s ability to understand biological sciences
- Ensure scientific rigor, precision, and intellectual honesty across all deliverables

Who You Are
Core Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Biology (or closely related fields: genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, etc.)
- Strong expertise in:
- genetics
- biotechnology
- bioinformatics
- or adjacent life sciences disciplines
- Proficient in Python or R (from research, coursework, or independent projects)
- Exceptional ability to communicate scientific concepts clearly with a sharp attention to detail
- Fluent in English
- Highly self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently and asynchronously

- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in academic research, lab work, or industry biotech
- Familiarity with computational biology tools or bioinformatics pipelines
