About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Biology Teacher to join a well-established international school in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Biology lessons across the secondary age range, inspire a love of science, and contribute positively to a collaborative school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Biology lessons across Key Stage 3, (I)GCSE and A Level (or equivalent international curricula).
- Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of students with a range of abilities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a passion for science.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate assessment records.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and the continued development of the Science Department.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, professional development and extracurricular activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student wellbeing and academic success.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or a closely related subject.
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Biology at secondary level, including Key Stage 3 and (I)GCSE.
- Ability to teach A Level Biology or an equivalent post-16 curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
