Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Biomolecular NMR Spectroscopist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Cambridge, UK area. As the Biomolecular NMR Spectroscopist, you will be responsible for providing NMR support for a proprietary fragment-based drug discovery (FBDD) platform, focusing on oncology and CNS targets.

Your duties as the Biomolecular NMR Spectroscopist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

- Develop ligand- and protein-observed NMR assays.
- Perform NMR-based fragment screening and validate and characterise hits.
- Use NMR to generate high-quality data on protein–ligand interactions, including affinity, kinetics, and mechanism of action.
- Express and purify isotopically labelled protein samples.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Biomolecular NMR Spectroscopist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

- Relevant degree in a scientific discipline.
- Proven industry experience in protein NMR spectroscopy.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with Bruker NMR spectrometers.
