About The Role

As a Bioresources Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading a team at one of our Bioresources operations sites. Reporting to the Regional Bioresources Manager, you’ll ensure that our water recycling and bioresources treatment operations run efficiently, safely, and sustainably. Your leadership will help us meet our environmental goals, including achieving Net Zero and contributing to the Circular Economy.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion Safety: Cultivate a culture where personal and process safety are top priorities, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the operation and maintenance of our assets, ensuring they meet performance and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and Inspire: Provide visible leadership to your team, fostering a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage site and team budgets with a focus on cost efficiency.
  • Crisis Management: Proactively prevent and manage operational incidents.
  • Talent Development: Mentor and develop your team, recognizing great performance and addressing areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with regulators, customers, and community stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Technical knowledge in water recycling and bioresources treatment is ideal, but we’re also open to candidates from similar industries.
  • Proven leadership experience with a passion for people management.
  • A commitment to health and safety, with relevant qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) being a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A flexible, resilient approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • A full driving licence is required.
