Role Purpose
Birmingham Panthers is an ambitious, early-stage sports brand on a journey to grow audiences, fill arenas and become a leading name in women’s sport. We’re a small, fast-moving team where people take ownership, move quickly and make things happen.
As Fan Communications Executive, you’ll sit at the heart of how we connect with fans. You’ll own and grow our direct-to-fan channels, social, email and our digital platforms, turning attention into action. The role is about building a connected ecosystem that captures first-party data, drives ticket sales and creates a loyal Panthers community.
This is not a “post and report” role, it’s about thinking creatively, testing ideas and helping shape how a modern sports brand grows.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Ownership & Growth
- Oversee and grow all social media channels day-to-day
- Own email marketing delivery (with agency support)
- Maintain and update the Panthers digital home/website
- Continuously improve reach, engagement and conversion across all channels

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
