Position: NPL Team Manager (U17s and U19s)
Organisation: Birmingham Panthers Netball Franchise
Commitment: October – March, evenings and weekends (approx. 9 match days per team, home and away)
Location: Various match venues (National Performance League fixtures)
Closing date: 12th September
Role Purpose
The NPL Team Manager is a volunteer role that provides essential support to the Birmingham Panthers U17 and U19 squads on game days. The Team Manager ensures all off-court logistics, communication, and administration are in place, enabling players and coaches to focus on performance. The role is central to creating a well-organised, supportive, and professional environment for the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all match day logistics (kit management and match day pack).
- Liaise with coaches and players to ensure effective communication.
- Support with match day administration (e.g. team sheets, paperwork, scorers).
- Act as the first point of contact between players and coaches on game days.
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are upheld at all times.
- Advocate for Birmingham Panthers and contribute to a positive team culture.
Person Specification
- No prior experience required (sports or organisational experience an advantage).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to commit to evening and weekend fixtures.
- Approachable, supportive, and able to work well within a team.
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a Enhanced DBS clearance with EN and Safeguarding training.

Additional Information
This is a volunteer position and does not carry a salary. Seasonal commitment: October to March.
