Position: NXT Gen Team Manager (U23)
Organisation: Birmingham Panthers Netball Franchise
Commitment: December – June, evenings and weekends (approx. 8 match days, home and away)
Location: Various match venues (National League fixtures)
Closing date: 12th September
Role Purpose
The NXT Gen Team Manager is a volunteer role that supports the Birmingham Panthers U23 squad on game days. The Team Manager ensures that logistics, administration, and communication are managed effectively, creating the conditions for players and coaches to perform at their best. This role also plays an important part in maintaining a positive, professional, and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee match day logistics (kit management and match day pack).
- Liaise with coaches and players to ensure smooth communication.
- Support with match day administration (e.g. team sheets, paperwork, scorers).
- Act as the point of contact between players and coaches on game days.
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are upheld at all times.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and represent Birmingham Panthers appropriately.
Person Specification
- No prior experience required (sports or organisational experience an advantage).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to commit to evening and weekend fixtures.
- Approachable, supportive, and team-oriented.
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a Enhanced DBS clearance with EN and Safeguarding training

Additional Information
This is a volunteer position and does not carry a salary. Seasonal commitment: December to June.
