About The Role
The Blender Generalist TD’s day-to-day work will focus on supporting the workflow on a variety of projects using Blender and the standard rez and pyblish frameworks. You will support across the pipeline with daily problem solving and hands-on work to meet the aspirations of this exciting new project.

Day To Day
- Problem solving on a daily basis to address challenges mid-production
- Supporting all disciplines in Blender with emphasis on developing and maintaining tools and technical workflows
- Communicating and working collaboratively with the Producer, CG Supervisor and 3D team
- Act as key technical resource across the production, providing hands-on support and troubleshooting for a wide range of asset and shot related challenges
- Keeping up to date with the latest CG animation tools
About You
Must Have:
- Excellent knowledge of CG Animation techniques and CG pipeline
- Adaptive and innovative approach to problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues, in order to find the best approach to challenges
- Strong organisational skills and able to manage your time and priorities independently across a number of projects
- Respond positively to, and act on, notes and feedback
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and other departments
- Able to work independently, taking initiative and being reliable
- Generalist skills across the entire animation workflow, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Technical understanding of optimising workflows, creating high quality renders with efficient render times
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Python scripting
- Comfortable writing and debugging pipeline tools independently
- Experience with a Python-based pipeline
- Familiarity with rez and pyblish or close equivalents

- Familiarity with face and other live capture techniques
- Familiarity with creating, owning and troubleshooting Geometry Nodes setups
- A solid grounding in good development habits - version control, writing tests and systems design

Established in London in 2000, the studio has grown to become the largest dedicated CG animation studio in the UK, picking up a shelf full of BAFTAs, an Annie and an Emmy along the way!
