Our partner company, managing applications and next steps, is seeking a Blockchain Engineer — Ecosystem Research & Business Exploration (based in the United Kingdom).

About the Role

Join a dynamic engineering environment dedicated to discovering where blockchain technology can deliver genuine, measurable business value.

Based at the intersection of research, engineering, and product thinking, your work will prioritise curiosity, experimentation, and technical expertise. You’ll build prototypes, experiment with new ideas, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that influence high-level infrastructure decisions.

  • Fast-paced, evolving domain requiring adaptability
  • Requires strong analytical thinking and technical expertise
  • Close collaboration with protocol, product, and core engineering teams
  • Fully remote, highly autonomous structure
  • Ideal for early-career engineers passionate about Web3 innovation

Accountabilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Explore and prototype blockchain-based use cases across diverse industries, creating experimental tools and proof-of-concepts to validate applicability.
  • Conduct research on on-chain ecosystems, protocols, and trends to identify gaps in infrastructure/tooling that hinder adoption.
  • Convert research findings into structured technical documentation, clear insights, and actionable recommendations for stakeholders across engineering & product teams.
  • Collaborate with protocol, infrastructure, and product teams to translate experimental results into roadmap priorities.
  • Stay up-to-date with Web3 developments, including dApps, protocols, and emerging business models.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
