BMS Applications Engineer
North East England | Hybrid Working | £55,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Car/Allowance
Vantage Consulting is recruiting for an experienced BMS Applications Engineer to join a leading Building Management Systems specialist with a strong pipeline of projects across the North East.

The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a BMS Applications Engineer looking to work on a variety of projects across commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial sectors. Working in a hybrid role, you'll split your time between home, customer sites, and project locations across the North East. As a BMS Applications Engineer, you'll be involved in the full project lifecycle, from system design and software development through to commissioning and project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Engineering and commissioning Building Management Systems
- Developing BMS software and graphics
- Delivering small works and project upgrades
- Carrying out site surveys and supporting system design
- Managing project delivery, programmes, and budgets
- Coordinating subcontractors and internal engineering teams
- Providing technical support and fault finding when required

About You
We're looking for a BMS Applications Engineer with:
- Experience engineering and commissioning BMS systems
- Strong knowledge of Trend, IQ Vision, Siemens, and Tridium/Niagara
- Experience developing BMS software and graphics
- An Electrical or Electronic Engineering background
- A full UK driving licence
- ECS, CSCS, or JIB accreditation (desirable)
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, SIPP, Cylon, or other BMS platforms would be advantageous.
