About the Role

This BMS Commissioning Engineer role directs the commissioning of Building Management System (BMS) projects across Scotland. Key tasks include ensuring systems are installed, configured, tested, and commissioned to meet project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commissioning of BMS installations, including HVAC, lighting control, and security system integrations.
  • Verify that all BMS systems are installed, configured, and operating in accordance with project specifications, design drawings, and client requirements.
  • Execute comprehensive testing, functional performance verification, and system validation to ensure ESC compliance, operational efficiency, and project objectives.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve commissioning issues, coordinating with contractors, engineers, and vendors to implement corrective actions and achieve successful system handover.

Candidate Profile

Technical Requirements

  • Proven experience commissioning Building Management Systems (BMS) with expertise in one or more of the following platforms: Trend, Tridium, Schneider Electric, or Siemens.
  • Demonstrable industry experience in commissioning and system integration.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of BMS hardware, software, and components.
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in commissioning tools, software applications, and system testing procedures.
