Join a leading building management systems (BMS) specialist

Kendra Energy Solutions is looking for an experienced full-time BMS Control Panel Technician to join our growing engineering team, covering London and the southeast. Salary: £38,000-£45,000 (depending on experience) + Overtime + Benefits

This is a varied and hands-on role. You’ll work primarily on site-based upgrades of BMS controllers and carrying out ad hoc modifications to existing control panels and motor control centres (MCCs).

Unlike a traditional workshop panel wiring position, this role focuses on modifying and upgrading existing installations, requiring strong fault-finding skills, the ability to interpret electrical schematics, and the confidence to work independently on customer sites.

The Role

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Carrying out on-site upgrades of BMS controllers
  • Modifying existing control panels and Motor Control Centres to accommodate new BMS installations
  • Wiring and terminating control equipment from schematic drawings
  • Cable numbering, looming and crimping
  • Electrical testing and fault finding
  • Diagnosing and resolving wiring issues within existing panels
  • Completing work safely and to a high standard of quality
  • Producing or updating record drawings where required (AutoCAD experience advantageous)
  • Working closely with commissioning engineers and project teams to deliver successful upgrades

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
