BMS Controls Engineer

Newcastle
£60,000 - £75,000 + Package

Join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors, delivering cutting-edge hyperscale projects across the UK and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BMS Controls Engineer to work on large-scale, mission-critical facilities while developing your career within a fast-growing organisation.

The Role

  • Deliver BMS software engineering, testing and commissioning on data centre projects.
  • Configure and integrate BMS systems with HVAC and critical infrastructure.
  • Carry out point-to-point testing, functional testing and system validation.
  • Support FAT, SAT and project handovers.
  • Work closely with project managers, commissioning teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Experience as a BMS Controls Engineer, BMS Project Engineer or BMS Commissioning Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium Niagara, Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens, Honeywell or Johnson Controls.
  • Experience within data centres or other critical environments is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of HVAC controls, BACnet, Modbus and control strategies.
  • Full UK driving licence.
