BMS Energy Engineer

Ready to Take Your BMS Career in a New Direction?

Are you a BMS Engineer looking to step away from site-based work and join a company at the forefront of smart building technology? Do you want to be part of one of the UK’s leading BMS companies, working alongside industry experts and helping customers maximise building performance through cutting-edge technology?

At BMSI, we're looking for a BMS Energy Engineer to join our growing Sustain Energy Centre (SEC) team based in our brand-new, high-specification office in Daresbury, near Warrington.

This is a hybrid role, combining office-based and home working, with regular attendance at our Daresbury office. This is not a fully remote position, as collaboration with the wider team is an important part of the role.

About the Role

As part of a fantastic and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in helping our customers maximise the performance of their buildings through the use of cutting-edge remote BMS technologies and energy management solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working within our Sustain Energy Centre (SEC), you’ll provide remote technical support and assistance to customers across a variety of sectors while helping identify opportunities for improved building performance and energy savings. You’ll also support the delivery of high-quality BMS supervisor graphics and system visualisations for a range of projects, helping customers gain valuable insight into their building systems.

Key Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
