BMS Engineer | BMS & Controls | UK – Remote | £48,000 + Benefits
A leading multinational firm specialising in commercial real estate and investment, in collaboration with a major global organisation, is seeking a service application engineer for projects focusing on the maintenance, monitoring, and optimisation of Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure efficient operation of building services and environmental controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance.
- Identify and resolve system issues, enhancing performance and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with clients, site management and technical teams to maintain operations.
- Enabling smart systems and IoT integration through technical leadership.
- Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME)—clearly articulating solutions that align with both client requirements and business objectives.
- Mentor team members on control software, analytical tools, and industry best practices, fostering continuous improvement.
- Two open headcounts available with expedited interview turnaround.

Salary & Working Arrangements 💰 Up to £50,000 + benefits ✈️ Fully remote with reimbursed site visits 🔧 Specialism focus: BMS / HVAC controls & commissioning
Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of BMS, particularly Tridium and EasyIO.
- Experience with BMS protocols: BACnet, Modbus etc.
- Understanding of mechanical/electrical building services, foundational IT networking knowledge.
- Problem-solving skills—diagnose and resolve critical hardware/software faults.
- Accredited degree or minimum 5 years’ experience in:
- HVAC controls
- Mechanical/commissioning systems design,
- Considering an ACAB-qualified HVAC apprenticeship equivalently.
