North West, Yorkshire, Midlands | £60,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Company Car/Allowance

Vantage Consulting is recruiting for an experienced BMS Project Manager to join a leading Building Management Systems business delivering a wide range of projects across the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BMS Project Manager to take ownership of multiple projects from initial design through to completion, working with a highly experienced team on commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure projects.

The Role

As a BMS Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing multiple BMS projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of BMS projects from design through to final handover
  • Overseeing project budgets, forecasting, procurement, variations and final accounts
  • Producing and reviewing technical documentation, including control philosophies, I/O schedules and plant schematics
  • Planning and coordinating commissioning activities and engineering resource
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
  • Attending site meetings and ensuring projects remain on programme
  • Promoting a strong health and safety culture across all projects
  • Supporting and mentoring engineers where required

About You

We're looking for a BMS Project Manager with:

  • Previous experience delivering Building Management System projects
  • Strong knowledge of BMS controls, HVAC systems and building automation
  • Experience managing project programmes, budgets and commercial performance
  • The ability to interpret technical documentation and oversee engineering delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Trend or Tridium systems
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
