Job Description

We are recruiting for Board Directors.

The role of Board Director is essential to the effective running of SFHA. This is an exciting and challenging time to help shape the strategic direction of the organisation as we continue our work to influence government policy and meet our members' changing needs.

As a member of the Board of SFHA, you will be expected to:

  • Promote and develop the strategic direction of the organisation;
  • Contribute actively to the Board of Directors’ role in giving direction to the organisation, setting overall policy, defining goals, setting targets and evaluating organisational performance;
  • Ensure the organisation’s operations and resources are managed effectively and efficiently, always aiming for excellence in governance and best practices;
  • Always act in the best interests of SFHA, its members and beneficiaries, at all times;
  • Operate within SFHA’s values: Professional, Agile, Collaborative and Empathetic
