Overview
This is a volunteer role for a Board Member with Trapped in Zone One. As a Board Member, your support and insights will help our mission alignment and continued contribution to community growth through creative initiatives.

This Board Member will play a key role in providing strategic direction, ensuring governance, fundraising guidance, and help to shape the organisation's goals.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a Board Member with skills & experiences in:
- Leadership and strategic planning experience, with excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with board members, staff, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in governance, organisational oversight, and policy development
- Experience in fundraising, financial management, or resource allocation strategies
- Passion for community engagement and promoting creativity through artistic practices
- Relevant background in non-profit organisations, cultural initiatives, or community development is a plus
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and the community

What Will You Be Doing?
The Board Member will join our current 2 directors of Trapped in Zone One. We are looking for an individual with one or more of the following areas of expertise:
- Arts expertise, including the development of partnerships
- Knowledge and experience of the community sector with art setting
- Financial management and fundraising expertise within the art sector
The candidate will participate in monthly meetings, advising on organisational policies, fundraising strategy, and collaborate with other members to foster impactful projects.
