Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

As a G1-rated housing provider, strong governance is central to our success. To support our continued growth and ambition, we are seeking three new Board Members who share our values, are passionate about our client agenda and can help shape JRHT's future.

We are particularly interested in people who bring fresh perspectives, sound judgement and a collaborative approach. This includes an individual with senior finance leadership experience, gained in housing or similar complex, regulated environment. This may be an ideal first Board or Non-Executive appointment for someone looking to broaden their strategic contribution.

We would also welcome applicants with senior leadership experience from housing, public services or customer-focused organisations. Whether your expertise lies in customer experience, service transformation, governance, risk, performance or data-led decision-making, you will bring strategic insight, constructive challenge and a genuine commitment to residents and communities.

Above all, we are looking for calm, thoughtful and curious individuals who can analyse complex issues, ask the right questions and take a long-term view. Previous board experience is not essential; what matters most is your ability to contribute at a strategic level and support excellent governance.

This is an opportunity to join the Board at a pivotal moment in JRHT's history, helping to shape major decisions, oversee long-term investment and ensure residents remain at the heart of everything we do.

If you share our ambition and believe in the power of good governance to create lasting positive change, we would love to hear from you.
