Job Description
As a Bobarista at Bubbletopia, you will be a key player in the preparation and presentation of our signature beverages and treats. Your creativity, attention to detail, and customer-centric approach will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience for our valued patrons. We offer flexible day, evening, and late-night shifts, allowing you to balance work with your other commitments. We are currently looking for several team members to join our family. Experience in retail and/or food service is preferable, but we are willing to train. Fluency in English is preferred. We’d love to learn more about you.
Hours: Part-time
Responsibilities
- Craft and serve a wide range of bubble tea beverages, including brewed teas, milk teas, and slushies, following our standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Help out on the floor if needed (training will be provided).
- Prepare and serve our delicious ice cream, ensuring each one is a mouthwatering delight.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering their inquiries, and recommending popular menu items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point-of-sale system.
- Collaborate with the team to introduce new and exciting flavors and menu items to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring that the store is ready for business and left in pristine condition at the end of the day.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
- Prepare toppings, sauces, and fruit purees in a timely and consistent manner to support efficient operations.
- Brew and steep teas to perfection, ensuring that each cup delivers a rich and flavorful experience.
- Prepare fresh fruits and tapioca pearls for use as toppings in our bubble tea beverages.
- Engage with customers, take their orders, and provide recommendations to enhance their bubble tea experience.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is a plus, but not required. We welcome individuals with a passion for bubble tea and culinary delights!
- A love for bubble tea and an interest in exploring innovative flavor combinations.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude to engage with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to work including weekends.
- Ability to memorize procedures, and drink recipes, understand drink concepts, and problem-solve.
Experience
- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
