Body Preparation Centre Technician – Evening Shift (Mercedes Benz Specialist)
LSH Auto is excited to invite applications for a Body Preparation Centre Technician working the evening shift. This crucial role involves ensuring vehicles are meticulously prepared for sale by restoring their bodies to peak condition—ideal for skilled professionals in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Working Hours & Salary
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM (evening shift)
- Salary: £36,400 OTE with potential to reach £50,000
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Mercedes Benz vehicles, adhering to industry standards
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards
- Replace vehicle parts, lubricants, and consumables, ensuring exact inventory documentation
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle conditions and service requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent industry certification)
- 2+ years of professional experience in automotive maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on professionalism
- Full UK driving licence (essential for site visiting customers/vehicles)
- Flexibility to adapt to emerging technologies, particularly in EV and hybrid vehicles
