BodySpa is a prestigious and well-established spa located within the Crowne Plaza Belfast, offering a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation for both hotel guests and public clients. What is the job?

As a Spa Therapist at BodySpa, you will deliver exceptional wellness treatments that promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being for our clients. With your expertise, professionalism, and warm approach, you will help create a calming and luxurious experience for every guest.

You will receive exclusive training from TEMPLESPA, equipping you with in-depth knowledge of their award-winning treatments and products. Ongoing training and development opportunities will be provided to help you grow and refine your skills.

In addition to delivering treatments, you will play a key role in maximising spa revenue through the proactive recommendation and retailing of TEMPLESPA products, ensuring clients can continue their wellness journey at home.

Hours

16 hours per week.

About The Role

Your day to day

  • Delivering a wide range of high-quality treatments such as massages, facials, body therapies, and specialist spa services using appropriate techniques and premium TEMPLESPA products to meet client needs and desired outcomes.
  • Conducting thorough consultations to understand each client's individual needs, concerns, and medical considerations, and offering expert advice on suitable treatments and aftercare.
  • Maintaining a clean, calm, and welcoming spa environment, ensuring all treatment areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation at all times.
  • Recording accurate client information and treatment notes, including recommendations for future care and home routines.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, building genuine rapport with guests, and ensuring every visit exceeds expectations.
  • Promoting TEMPLESPA products, spa packages, and memberships, offering tailored recommendations to help clients maintain wellness between visits and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Staying current with industry trends and techniques through continuous learning, professional development, and training opportunities provided by BodySpa and TEMPLESPA.
  • Working collaboratively with your team to ensure seamless spa operations, supporting each other to deliver outstanding guest experiences

Required Criteria

  • Recognised qualification in spa/beauty therapy: NVQ Level 3, ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO, or an equivalent in beauty and massage therapy.
  • At least 1 years experience working as a Spa or Beauty Therapist, ideally within a hotel spa or destination spa environment
  • Strong knowledge of spa and beauty treatments, techniques, and professional-grade products.
  • Sound understanding of anatomy, physiology, and skin care principles
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Excellent communication skills – both with clients and within a team setting
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage back-to-back appointments calmly and efficiently.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering consistently high-quality treatments.
