The Role
Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in an automotive setting? Farnborough Audi is seeking an experienced and dedicated Bodyshop Advisor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Liaison: Provide a professional, courteous, and welcoming service to customers—both in-person and via telephone/email.
- Visitor Experience: Welcome customers to the site and ensure all visitors receive an outstanding, professional experience.
- Enquiries and Bookings: Handle customer/insurance enquiries and manage appointment bookings efficiently.
- Regular Updates: Communicate proactively with customers, updating them on repair progress, additional needs, or vehicle completion status.
- Database Management: Keep the Lookers database up to date in line with our processes.
- Upselling Opportunities: Identify and promote bodywork and wheel repair services as appropriate.
- Financing & Payments: Process invoices and ensure full payment before vehicles are released.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with aftersales teams to ensure seamless communication and teamwork.
- Problem Resolution: Manage customer problems, complaints, and difficult situations diplomatically, resolving issues swiftly and fairly.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all work is administered in line with Lookers’ defined processes.

Person Specification:
- Customer Service Focus: Must have experience in a customer-facing role in either the motor trade or bodyshop sector (although it is not mandatory).
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to engage warmly and professionally with customers.
- Licencing: Must hold a full driving licence with an excellent driving record.

About Farnborough Audi
Contract: Permanent Full Time Hours: 42 weekly hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (one early finish per week)
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (rota basis)
Salary: OTE up to £36,800 per annum (uncapped), including a basic employment salary of £32,000.
