Role overview
We are currently recruiting for Bodyshop Manager to join our Bodyshop, to lead and manage Citygate's Bodyshop in Wooburn Green to achieve key targets, profitability and deliver customer satisfaction and strive for continuous improvements.
Key responsibilities
As a Bodyshop Manager your key responsibilities will be to:
- To lead Bodyshop team in line with the skills and behaviours associated with the Citygate Experience and Brand Values
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Bodyshop to ensure the achievement of key targets
- Continuously reviewing and improving Bodyshop processes and systems to deliver increased levels of customer satisfaction whilst maximising profitability and quality of workmanship
- Working with colleagues across Citygate to investigate and resolve complaints
- Negotiating with suppliers to obtain both quality and value for money
- Planning and managing stock levels to meet requirements and minimise costs
- To manage and develop individuals within the team, monitoring staff training needs, ensuring training and development plans are in place and up to date for all members of the team
- Working with individuals to address performance issues e.g. by providing coaching
- Recruitment and selection for the Body Shop Team
- Providing advice and sign-off on key issues
- Oversee paint warranty claims processing, ensuring manufacturer's requirements are strictly adhered to
- To plan and manage resource requirements e.g. consumables and specialist tools
- Ensures opportunities for sales by other teams are followed up by the most appropriate specialist

About You
If you are looking for your next role and would like to be part of a successful and busy team and would like to be considered to join our fantastic Bodyshop, you will need to possess the below skills and attributes:
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Previous experience in a Bodyshop management role
- Knowledge of Kerridge systems is advantageous
- Experience in raising invoices
- Good administration experience
- Self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
