About the Role
Do you have motor bodyshop/workshop experience? Are you passionate about cars, with a keen eye for detail, and take pride in your work? Do you aspire to lead in premium automotive brands?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Bodyshop Manager to join Finished Vehicle Solutions at DHL Supply Chain in Peterborough.
Responsibilities
✅ Operational Leadership
- Process and support operational workflows to ensure a safe, efficient bodyshop operation
- Lead and manage all bodyshop operations, including prep, paint, panel, and SMART repair activities
- Monitor and manage service quality, ensuring compliance with DHL standards, customer requirements, and transport regulations
- Oversee warranty procedures and ensure full compliance with OEM requirements
✅ Workforce & Efficiency Management
- Manage workflow, prioritisation, and turnaround times to meet operational targets
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (workshop, parts, warranty, operations)
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development conversations

Requirements
✅ Essential Qualifications
- Previous experience in an automotive or bodyshop repair environment with a strong understanding of repair methods and processes
- Full driving license (essential)
- A keen eye for detail, passion for cars, and pride in workmanship
✅ Preferred Experiences
- Experience in workshop controlling/management, transport supervision, or operations management (supervisory or leadership roles)
- Relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology, Body Repair, Paint, or an equivalent discipline (e.g., City & Guilds)
- Stakeholder and customer management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment, meeting operational demands, service level agreements, and ensuring compliant, high-quality work
- Strong understanding of parts ordering processes and stock control
