Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bodyshop Technician role based in Leicester. The Bodyshop Technician will carry out vehicle body repairs, panel replacement, and structural alignment to manufacturer standards, using appropriate tools and repair methods.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing and refinishing bodywork
- Conducting damage assessments
- Working from repair estimates and job cards
The role involves:
- Collaborating closely with service and parts teams
- Maintaining accurate repair documentation
- Ensuring all work complies with safety, quality, and environmental guidelines
Additionally, the Bodyshop Technician will:
- Help keep the workshop clean and organized
- Follow health and safety procedures
- Contribute to a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Strong vehicle body repair skills, including panel beating, dent removal, and structural repair to manufacturer specifications.
- Competence in paint preparation and refinishing, including masking, color matching, and finishing to a high standard.
- Ability to interpret repair estimates, technical drawings, and job cards, with solid attention to detail and quality control.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices, safe use of tools and equipment, and adherence to workshop procedures.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach and commitment to “getting it right the first time.”
- Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in vehicle body repair or accident repair (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a dealership or professional bodyshop environment; experience with multiple brands is an advantage.
- Full UK driving license and the ability to work on-site in Leicester on a full-time basis.
