Working Hours – Monday to Friday 6am until job finish
The Role
Reporting to the Boning Hall Manager, we are now looking for a Chargehand to join the team at Bridge of Allan to support in the day to day running of the Boning Hall and to provide holiday/absence cover as and when required.
Duties & Responsibilities
To ensure that all production requirements are met as per instructions from Boning Hall Manager To supervise the team and ensure that jobs are completed as per requirements of the customer. To ensure continuous improvements in efficiency and complete all documentation as required by Boning Hall Manager To maintain a first rate communication system; to ensure a highly motivated team at all times To assist in the direction of the team and ensure that all procedures undertaken by them are carried out in a correct and safe manner To assist where necessary to create a pleasant and efficient working environment for all team members To liaise with the Supervisors on any product quality problems To ensure that you and all the team comply with the Company Health and Safety policy at all times To ensure all tasks performed are as per training given and safe working procedures To work to an agreed training plan, bringing any skill shortfalls/difficulties to the attention of the Manager. Ensure understanding of expected standards and targets before commencing any task. To ensure that where PPE is provided to staff, that this is correctly worn/used, maintained and any defects reported to the relevant key colleagues. To ensure that all product is boned or trimmed to meet customer/company specifications, whilst also maximizing yield and minimizing waste. To report any problems regarding equipment/machinery to boning hall management. To ensure that you and all the team comply with the Company Hygiene Policy at all times Attendance at training and development courses relevant to the role as required Any other reasonable duties as required

The successful candidate should have experience of working in a fast paced and

Experience of managing or supervising people would be beneficial Proactive, dynamic and motivational with the ability to deliver results in a fast
