Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking to join a well-established and respected accountancy practice?
Jerroms are looking to expand their Tamworth team, which has been supporting businesses for over 50 years. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Bookkeeper to join our friendly and dynamic team in a newly created role, helping to increase the capacity of our busy accounts department.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries and business sizes. You'll be responsible for managing your own client relationships while providing a high standard of bookkeeping and accounting support.

- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Completing bookkeeping for a varied client portfolio using a range of accounting software packages.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
- Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly payrolls.
- Liaising directly with clients to provide excellent service and support.

Requirements
- Has previous bookkeeping experience, ideally gained within an accountancy practice.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using a variety of computer systems.
- Has excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
