Booking & Order Handling Operator Remote | Training Initially Onsite (Caerphilly) 12 Month FTC £ 24,744.72
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Booking & Order Handling Operator to join our busy team. This is a varied role where you’ll be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, managing bookings, and providing excellent service through both inbound and outbound telephone contact.

Although this is primarily a remote position, all new starters will complete an onsite training programme until fully competent in the role. Following this, you’ll work remotely, with Wednesdays remaining a mandatory office day to support collaboration, team meetings and ongoing development.
Working Hours
- Core Hours: Tuesday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm
- Additional Weekend & Bank Holiday Commitment:
- 5 Saturdays per year – 8:30am to 1:30pm
- 5 Sundays per year – 10:00am to 1:30pm
- 1 Bank Holiday per year – 8:30am to 1:30pm
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing customer bookings and orders accurately and efficiently.
- Entering and maintaining data across internal systems.
- Handling inbound customer calls professionally and resolving queries.
- Making outbound calls to customers where required.
- Monitoring orders and ensuring information is updated correctly.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Delivering a consistently high level of customer service.
- Working to agreed service levels, quality standards and productivity targets.
- Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks as required.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working with customers.
- Previous experience in a customer service, administration, order processing or booking role.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Confident communicating with customers over the telephone.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment.
- Competent using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
- Able to work independently while also contributing positively to a team.
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
- Willing to attend onsite training and work in the office every Wednesday.
- Flexible to fulfil the required weekend and Bank Holiday rota.
