About the Role
We are expanding our team and we need you! A great opportunity has arisen for us to recruit booking team members into the women's health department.
Are you a proactive and motivated individual who enjoys working in a challenging and busy environment? If so, we want you to support the Women's Health specialties at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and courteous “front of house” service for all staff and visitors utilizing the facilities provided within Sharoe Green Unit, Royal Preston Hospital, acting in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Respond to requests for information promptly and efficiently using a variety of communication methods, ensuring that Trust Customer Service standards are adhered to. Ensure information is accurate and meets Trust Standards regarding delivering information.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, must be flexible in approach, able to exercise initiative, and demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism, being aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity.
- Assist with responding to external and internal telephone queries from staff, patients, and others and referring to the appropriate person.
- Communicate with a range of staff, users, and visitors to the Trust / Department utilizing a variety of communication methods including verbal, electronic, and passing information in a format that is appropriate to the individual request.
- Support with preparing clinics and ensure medical and nursing teams are supported throughout the clinic.

Work Schedule
TOTAL flexibility in working is required as you will be required to work a variety of early/late shifts as the reception currently operates 08:00 - 18:00. Full & Part-time positions are available.
