Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity that will help you gain work experience and kick-start your career in the Audio Visual industry. We are an established business based in Bounds Green, North London. We provide Audio Visual solutions and supply equipment rentals to London and the South of England. Our work includes anything from music festivals and live music events to conferencing, awards dinners and fashion shows, so you will gain experience at a wide range of events and learn a broad range of disciplines. Training will be provided so you will also learn about all the sound, lighting and video equipment we stock.
This internship would suit highly energetic individuals and will get involved with the day to day running of our busy AV hire company. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to train up in our bookings team with the view to potentially filling future permanent roles within the business.
Our bookings team are at the heart of our organisation and deal with 100’s of enquiries each week. We deal with a wide range of clients, from individuals who want to hire a pair of speakers to large companies who require sound systems and AV equipment for corporate events. The role will be working within the team to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a professional manner, to create quotes and invoices using our hire software and work with each client to ensure they get great service right through to the end of their hire period. An understanding of sound, AV or lighting is essential.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Someone Who Is
- Highly organised, who can plan workload and schedule multiple tasks
- Comfortable working with computers, using word/excel and using the web
- Enjoys speaking to customers and understands how to give great service
- Able to work under pressure at times
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
Successful candidates will be people who are highly motivated, who take pride in their work, and enjoy working independently and as part of a team. Our internship program runs for 12 months and you will be required to work at least 2 days a week for the duration of the program.
