We're looking for an organised and proactive individual to support a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients. This is a diverse role combining bookkeeping, payroll and office administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and building strong client relationships.
You will be responsible for:
- Manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients using cloud-based accounting software.
- Process weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Liaise with clients to resolve day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll queries.
- Provide general administrative support to the Partners and wider team.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining client records.

What you will bring:
- Previous bookkeeping experience gained within an accountancy practice.
- Payroll processing experience, including RTI submissions.
- Good knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar accounting software.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional and confident communicating with clients.
