Role Description

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial records for The Height Group Ltd in an accurate and timely manner. This part-time, on-site role based in Loanhead includes tasks such as recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, processing invoices, reconciling bank accounts, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. The role also involves entering and reviewing journal entries, working with accounting software, assisting with budgeting and cash flow tracking, and liaising with internal stakeholders regarding financial queries. The Bookkeeper will help ensure compliance with relevant financial procedures and contribute to clear, organized documentation for internal and external reporting.

  • Candidates should possess strong bookkeeping and finance skills, including experience in maintaining ledgers and managing day-to-day financial records.
  • Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing financial statements, with attention to accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and related digital tools used for recording transactions and generating reports.
  • Candidates should possess experience with journal entries in accounting, including posting, reviewing, and reconciling entries.
  • Candidates should have strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on-site in Loanhead.
  • Candidates should have effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operational and management teams.
