Bookkeeper Opportunity in Syston
Our client, based in Syston, is currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper on a 3 – 6 month temporary contract.
Position Details
- Start Date: Immediate, full-time basis (part-time hours may be considered)
- Hourly Rate: £20.74 umbrella
- Potential: Move onto a permanent contract
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining accurate financial records using Netsuite
- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring all financial data is up-to-date
- Submitting VAT returns and entering journals
- Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Assisting with weekly and monthly payroll processing where needed
- Supporting administrative tasks including correspondence, scheduling, and document preparation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required
- Knowledge of Netsuite
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles including VAT and reconciliations
Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
