Sachdevs is an established accountancy practice based in Coventry, supporting a broad client base across SMEs and international businesses. We operate a fully digital, cloud-based environment and focus on high-quality delivery and strong team collaboration.

We are looking for a full time and a part time Bookkeeper to join the team, supporting our Client Account Managers and working within a pod structure.

Role Overview

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients
  • Process purchase and sales invoices
  • Complete bank and control account reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with MTD requirements
  • Assist with payroll processing where required
  • Support Client Account Managers with management accounts preparation (accruals, prepayments, etc.)
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and on time
  • Work closely with the wider team to resolve queries

  • Xero (day-to-day use)

  • Fully cloud-based / paperless environment

Candidate Requirements

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role (practice preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of Xero (practical, day-to-day use)
  • Understanding of VAT and basic accounting principles
  • Experience with Dext or similar tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a digital, paperless environment
  • Good written and verbal English
