Part-Time Bookkeeper (Remote / Hybrid)
12 hours per week (Flex) | £15.00 - £16.50 per hour DOE | Bloxham-based business
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a flexible part-time role with the benefit of mostly home-based working?
We are recruiting on behalf of a small, friendly accountancy practice with a specialist focus on the creative arts sector, who are now looking to appoint a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support their growing client base.
This opportunity would suit someone with solid double-entry bookkeeping experience, confidence in invoice and receipt reconciliations, and working knowledge of Sage and/or Xero. It could be ideal for someone currently working on a self-employed basis who would prefer the stability of a permanent employed role, someone with previous practice experience looking for a flexible part-time position, or a Bookkeeper with a minimum of 2 years’ experience looking for a new opportunity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
