Boomi – Sr iPaaS Architect (Contract, London, UK – 5 Days Onsite)
About the Role
- Role: Sr iPaaS Architect
- Type: Contract
- Location: London, UK (5 days onsite)
Design and own end-to-end integration architectures on the Boomi platform, defining patterns, standards, and reusable frameworks that ensure scalability, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of complex integration programmes, providing hands-on development guidance across:
- Boomi AtomSphere
- MFT (Managed File Transfer)
- API Management
- Ensure solutions are built to the highest quality standards

Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Boomi across the organisation, providing:
- Advice on integration best practices
- Platform capabilities
- Roadmap decisions
- Translation of business requirements into robust technical designs

Establish and enforce integration governance, including:
- Coding standards
- Error handling patterns
- Deployment pipelines
- Testing frameworks
- Drive consistency and reduce technical debt across the integration estate

- Mentor and upskill developers by:
- Conducting design and code reviews
- Leading knowledge-sharing sessions
- Building long-term team capability on the Boomi platform
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
- Skills & Experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong experience in Boomi integration and sound business process knowledge
