Make-Up Artist

As a member of our skilled make-up artist team, you’ll combine your creative and technical expertise—alongside a passion for people—to craft a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience. Your role is to educate and delight customers while maintaining the highest standards of service.

You’ll also collaborate with a dynamic team to executing impactful in-store events, ensuring the store stands out through outstanding visual merchandising.

About the Role

While certification in make-up artistry and/or prior retail make-up experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate a strong blend of creative and technical skills. Responsibilities

  • Provide ** Inspirational, personalized make-up consultations** for customers in real-time
  • Collaborate with the team to execute high-impact in-store events
  • Ensure the store maintains elevated standards of visual merchandising to differentiate against competitors
  • Adhere to retail operations standards, including opening/closing tasks, inventory, and POS software management
  • Work flexibly during retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and special events

Requirements

✅ Desired (but not essential):

  • Formal qualification in make-up artistry or verified retail make-up experience
  • Amateur-level applicants must prove exceptional creative and technical expertise

✅ Essential:

  • Ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, retail-focused environment
  • Experience with retail point-of-sale software
  • Proven ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and special events
