Mode Executive is supporting a leading luxury heritage brand in the search for a Boutique Director to lead its flagship boutique in Mayfair. This is a high-profile leadership opportunity with responsibility for driving commercial performance, delivering an exceptional client experience, and overseeing the strategy and operation of an adjacent private client space dedicated to the brand's most valued clientele.

The position is based in Mayfair, London, and reports directly to the Brand Director. The successful candidate will lead a team of five direct reports, comprising an Assistant Boutique Manager, three Senior Client Advisors, and one Client Advisor, while working closely with senior commercial leadership and international stakeholders.

The Role

  • Lead the overall commercial performance and day-to-day operations of the flagship boutique and private client lounge.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team, creating a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
  • Establish clear performance management routines through regular coaching, feedback, and succession planning, while nurturing future leaders within the business.
  • Drive business growth by developing and executing strategies to increase sales, strengthen client relationships, and maximize boutique performance.
  • Foster an exceptional client-centric culture, ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury retail and hospitality.
  • Build, develop, and maintain a robust pipeline of Very Important Clients (VICs) through proactive networking, CRM initiatives, and bespoke client engagement programs.
  • Personally engage with Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients, representing the brand with confidence at private events, client experiences, and industry functions.
  • Lead transformational initiatives, including improving underperforming teams or boutiques, implementing operational improvements, and driving sustainable performance growth.
  • Maintain exceptional operational standards across all aspects of the boutique, leading by example with a visible presence on the sales floor and ensuring operational responsibilities are shared effectively across the team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on business planning, commercial strategy, and performance reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
