The Boutique Manager Role
Drives retail sales by the overall management of the Mayfair boutique through unique and personalized experience delivered at Aranyani.

Responsibilities

A. In Store

  • P&L responsibility for the boutique
  • Implement and adhere to the brand guidelines in store
  • Develop and drive sales strategies to achieve sales target
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve operational efficiencies in store to contain costs and enhance customer experience

B. Recruitment, Staff Training & Motivation

  • Recruit, lead, and coach your team
  • Train and develop your team through an ongoing training programme
  • Motivate the team to enhance their performance and reduce turnover

C. Merchandise, Inventory, and Purchase Planning

  • Prepare a merchandise requirement plan to achieve the given sales targets
  • Monitor and report on weekly sell throughs
  • Create purchase and replenishment orders in a timely manner to the atelier, to achieve the target sales
  • Plan and execute research and gain customer feedback for product development and requirements.

D. Neighbourhood/Customer Relationship Building & Retention

  • Drive growth and development of the Boutique within the area by building strong and trusting relationships that drive footfall to the store
  • Build and manage relationships with VIP clients
  • Develop relationships and work with personal shoppers/stylists/hotels to grow sales

E. Support Roles

  • Support and work with the Marketing and Business Development Manager to deliver exceptional clientel events

F. Compliance

  • Compliance with regulatory rules and guidelines

Key Deliverables

  • Understanding of core principles and competency of Aranyani
  • Alignment with line managers' thought process and expectations
  • Building credibility with internal teams across key functions
  • Understanding products, customers, & market
  • Understand and own performance metrics, sales revenue, number of partnership deals

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Graduate/post-graduate in business management
  • Experience: 8+ years with a minimum of 3 years in P&L management of Boutique Stores
  • Sector: Luxury products/services in the UK market
  • Experience in the luxury market with a retail management background.
  • A target-driven individual that thrives on meeting and exceeding targets
  • Passionate about training, developing, and motivating others to success
  • Be a confident leader, leading from the front
  • Deliver exceptional service.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering high profile events.
  • A very high sense for etiquette and presentation
  • Excellent people skills, articulate with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • The ability to network and build strong working relationships
  • Be competent and sensitive to different cultures.
