Boutique Supervisor
Boutique Supervisor – Harrods Boutique
Mission
- Drive sales growth and acquire new clients
- Deliver the highest level of service to all Chopard clients
- Support and lead the boutique team in close collaboration with the Boutique Manager
- Ensure adherence to Chopard’s Boutique Charter and retail standards
Main Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Act as deputy to the Boutique Manager, assuming full responsibility for boutique operations in their absence
- Support the Boutique Manager in conducting performance reviews and developing individual development plans
- Motivate team members by setting clear short- and long-term objectives aligned with their skills
- Organise and deliver regular training sessions (e.g. selling skills, role-play exercises)
- Promote continuous performance improvement, including contribution to mystery shopping results
- Support planning and facilitation of regular team meetings and briefings, covering:
- Business performance and sales strategies
- Weekly targets and objectives
- Product knowledge, client leads, after-sales service, and upcoming activities
- Team engagement and motivation
- Organise monthly staff rota and ensure completion of administrative duties
- Enforce discount policy and coach the team on margin optimisation techniques
- Support coaching, best practice sharing, and ongoing training initiatives

Client Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure the highest service standards align with the Boutique Charter
- Guarantee all clients receive a professional, respectful, and luxury experience
- Maintain impeccable boutique presentation, including:
- Cleanliness, maintenance, and aligned displays/decorations per Chopard guidelines
- Availability and proper use of marketing materials
- Staff presentation and adherence to dress code standards
- Showcase displays, trays, and product presentation to the highest standard
- Careful stock handling (e.g. no visible fingerprints)
- Ensure an appropriate in-store atmosphere, including approved music and visual materials
- Report maintenance/refurbishment needs to Head Office promptly
Business Development
- Support achievement of sales targets against annual objectives
- Assist in organising and managing in-store and external events to:
- Generate new client opportunities
- Drive sales and brand awareness
- Ensure effective use and maintenance of the Salesforce CRM system by all team members
- Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners (hotels, clubs, tour operators, drivers, translators)
- Identify and propose new initiatives to attract and engage new clients

Operations & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to security, insurance, and operational procedures as per Chopard policies
- Monitor stock levels to stay within insurance coverage limits at all times
- Maintain accurate management of:
- Transactions
- Stock (including regular stock checks)
- Client data
- Support onboarding and training of new boutique team members
Specific Activities
- Travel required for events and client engagement
- Monitor and report competitor activity and market trends
Key Requirements
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Photoshop
- Professional presentation aligned with luxury brand standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and outside standard hours
- Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills
