Box Office Manager – Blue Note London

Blue Note London is a landmark addition to the global Blue Note Entertainment Group family, bringing the same world-class live music experience that has defined Blue Note venues for decades. Located in the heart of London's West End and opening this fall, the venue offers an intimate setting for performances by legendary artists, emerging talent, and a broad range of musical genres, welcoming jazz enthusiasts and wider audiences alike.

POSITION SUMMARY

Blue Note London is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Box Office Manager to oversee all aspects of ticketing operations and front-facing customer service ahead of our fall opening. This is an immediate hire, with the successful candidate joining now to build ticketing systems and processes from the ground up before the venue opens. This role requires proven experience with professional ticketing platforms such as Ticketmaster or comparable systems, and close collaboration with the marketing department and external partners to ensure seamless ticketing, event promotion, and guest experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ticketing Operations:

  • Build and maintain all events in Ticketmaster
  • Oversee ticket sales, ticket collection operations, and financial reconciliation
  • Manage complimentary tickets and guest lists
  • Manage third-party ticketing outlets and allocations
  • Prepare and submit box office reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Enforce and maintain established box office policies and procedures

Staff & Customer Service:

  • Supervise, schedule, and train box office staff to provide professional service
  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Work on-site in the box office five days per week

Marketing & Promotion Support:

  • Update the venue website and social media event listings; support the marketing department with ticketing-related materials
  • Track flyer inventory and deliveries, and maintain the display table and placement with partners
  • Ensure on-site marketing material is current and properly displayed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Direct experience with Ticketmaster or a similar ticketing system is required
  • Prior management experience in a box office, venue, or ticketing environment
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule
