Brake NVH Integration Engineer

About Aston Martin

At Aston Martin, performance is measured in every detail. From the unmistakable sound of our vehicles to the refined driving experience our customers expect, engineering excellence is at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a talented Brakes NVH Integration Engineer to join our Vehicle Dynamics team and play a pivotal role in delivering world-class braking refinement across our current and future vehicle programmes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of some of the world's most desirable luxury performance vehicles while working alongside leading engineering specialists in a collaborative and innovative environment.

As the Brakes NVH Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the brake Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) attribute across Aston Martin's vehicle portfolio. Working at the intersection of brake system development, vehicle integration, and customer experience, you will ensure our vehicles deliver the premium refinement and quality expected of the Aston Martin brand.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of brake NVH performance throughout the full vehicle development cycle, defining targets, identifying issues, leading investigations, and driving robust engineering solutions.
  • Lead the development and delivery of brake NVH performance across a range of vehicle programmes, ensuring braking systems achieve the required levels of refinement and customer satisfaction.
  • Define and manage brake NVH targets, undertake technical investigations into issues such as squeal, judder, groan, and creep groan, and lead problem-solving activities through structured engineering methodologies.
  • Work closely with Vehicle NVH, Chassis Engineering, Vehicle Integration, CAE, and Test & Development teams to ensure brake system performance is fully aligned with overall vehicle attribute objectives.
  • Plan, execute, and interpret vehicle, rig, and climatic test activities, collaborating with simulation teams to correlate and predict performance.
  • Support the development of brake system components including pads, discs, calipers, and actuation systems.
  • Work directly with suppliers and engineering partners, ensuring technical requirements are clearly defined, understood, and successfully delivered from concept through to production.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
