About the Role
As Branch Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the branch. You'll provide administrative and personal assistant support to the Branch Manager, coordinate essential branch activities, maintain accurate records, and act as a welcoming first point of contact for customers and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and personal assistant support to the Branch Manager and wider team
- Manage incoming calls and oversee the branch switchboard
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries professionally both in person and remotely
- Process invoices, delivery notes, quotations, delivery tickets, and other financial documentation
- Carry out daily cashiering duties and liaise with Head Office teams
- Maintain accurate records, databases, filing systems, and stock documentation
- Regularly update sales databases and branch records
- Support the sales team during customer events and trade shows
- Conduct monthly stock checks on domestic items
- Ensure clear communication across the branch and support the delivery of excellent customer service

About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and enjoys building positive relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
You will have:
- Strong communication skills with a professional and confident telephone manner
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling data and documentation
- Experience working within a busy administrative or office support role
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the confidence to use your own initiative
- A friendly, approachable attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A full, clean UK driving licence

Additional Information:
- Start Date: Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period
- Location: Marlesford, Suffolk, IP13 0AG
- Hours: 40 hours per week – 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Contract: Permanent, Full time, Salaried
- Salary: £Competitive, dependent upon experience, plus bonus
