MS-Group Ltd, an independent family business established in 1821, is the “parent” company for a number of Memorial Retail outlets throughout South Wales and the West Country. These include Mossfords – Wales’ oldest memorial masons and various others.

The company also includes a rapidly expanding Sign Company (Morgans Consult), a vehicle graphics division (PopIn Graphics) as well as an internet based business selling stone signage (StoneSign Company) and is continuously expanding and developing.

The Role

Branch Assistant – Memorial Sales

Dealing with Sales situations – always with a caring, helpful and understanding manner, including:

  • Dealing with and helping clients, potential clients and past clients with a range of queries and problems
  • Selling memorials and similar products and services on site at the branch and dealing with all aspects surrounding the taking of orders
  • Dealing with after-sales situations with an equally caring, helpful and understanding manner
  • Contacting clients and potential clients by telephone
  • Ensuring that all orders and leads are tracked and recorded to ensure maximum efficiency and quality of service
  • Occasionally calling at clients homes to provide advice and possible sales and/or to help resolve or answer any queries – possibly outside of normal working hours.

Additional Responsibilities Detail

  • Answering the telephone & dealing with all queries relating to the branch and its clients etc
  • Inputting order and other data into our automated order system
  • Processing paperwork
  • Updating and maintaining the files
  • Receiving and handling payments, deposits etc
  • Ensuring that the office, display and showrooms are kept in a good, tidy and clean condition.
  • Report and communicate with Head Office on a regular basis to ensure good relationships are maintained and quality of service to the client is ensured.
  • Helping with other administrative duties from other busier branches

What You Can Expect From Us

  • Branch opening hours are 9am-5pm
  • This is a part time position working 3 days per week (including Saturday)
  • 8.5 hours per day
