About MS-Group Ltd

MS-Group Ltd is an independent family business established in 1821 and serves as the parent company for a portfolio of Memorial Retail outlets across South Wales and the West Country. This includes Mossfords, Wales’ oldest memorial masons, among other branches.

In addition to its memorial businesses, MS-Group Ltd comprises:

  • A rapidly expanding Sign Company (Morgans Consult)
  • A vehicle graphics division (PopIn Graphics)
  • An internet-based business selling stone signage (StoneSign Company)
  • Ongoing expansion and development across its operations.

### Branch Assistant – Memorial Sales

Core Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support Memorial Sales within the branch, embodying a caring, helpful, and understanding approach with clients, past, and potential clients. Key duties include:

  • Client Engagement:

    • Handling queries and resolving problems across a variety of memorial-related issues.
    • Providing advice and support, ensuring customers feel valued throughout the process.
  • Sales:

    • Selling memorials and other related products/services in person at the branch.
    • Managing all elements of the order process, from initial interaction to order finalisation.

  • After-Sales & Support:

    • Offering attentive and helpful assistance post-purchase, resolving any enquiries.
    • Occasionally visiting clients in person—inside or outside standard working hours—to provide consultative support.
  • Communication:

    • Making telephone calls to existing and potential clients to improve engagement.
    • Ensuring all enquiries, leads, and orders are systematically tracked and recorded for efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities

This role also encompasses the following administrative and operational duties:

  • Telephone & Customer Service:

    • Answering calls and resolving operational or client-related queries.
  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Inputting order and client data into the automated order system.
    • Processing job paperwork, deposits, and payments.
    • Maintaining up-to-date client and company records.
  • Office & Workspace Maintenance:

    • Keeping the branch, showroom, and office tidy, clean, and presentable.
  • Reporting & Collaboration:

    • Reporting regularly to Head Office to ensure seamless client service standards.
    • Assisting with administrative tasks from other branches during busy periods.

### Work Environment & Benefits

Hours & Terms

  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Branch Office).
  • Part-Time Position:
    • 3 days per week, including one Saturday.
    • Daily Hours: 8.5 hours total.

Permanent Role & Training

  • This is a permanent position with a 6-month probation period.
  • Full training will be provided.
