Branch Assistant/Van Driver

Branch Assistant / Van Driver

Location: Total Plumbing Ammanford

We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Branch Assistant/Van Driver to join our Total Plumbing team. If you enjoy being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and supporting day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role

This is a dual role where you’ll split your time between delivering goods to our customers and supporting branch operations. You’ll represent our business on the road by ensuring safe, efficient, and professional delivery of products. When not driving, you’ll assist in the warehouse and trade counter, serving customers, preparing stock, and maintaining a safe and tidy environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Driver

  • Safely operate company vehicles in line with legal requirements.
  • Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
  • Secure all loads and ensure accurate delivery documentation.
  • Deliver products to customers, obtaining signatures for all deliveries.
  • Keep vehicles clean, tidy, and roadworthy at all times.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
