Branch Manager

Branch Manager – Industrial Distribution

Visum Recruitment are proud to be representing our client, a well-established industrial distribution business, who are seeking an experienced and commercially-driven Branch Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.


About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Drive sustainable business growth by developing existing customer accounts and securing new opportunities.
  • Ensure the branch meets commercial objectives through performance management.
  • Lead and develop the team while delivering exceptional customer service and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Growth
    • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across the region.
    • Grow existing customer accounts to maximise revenue and retention.

  • Commercial Performance

    • Take full responsibility for branch sales performance, profitability, and target achievement.
    • Review and present quotes, tenders, proposals, and commercial presentations.
  • Team Leadership

    • Lead, motivate, and develop the branch team to foster a high-performance culture.
    • Foster continuous improvement in customer service and operations.
  • Customer Engagement

    • Conduct meetings, site visits, and presentations to strengthen client relationships.
    • Ensure exceptional operational efficiency and customer service standards.
  • Strategic Support

    • Contribute to wider business objectives as required.
    • Monitor and optimise branch performance against KPIs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Branch/Sales Manager role (ideal within industrial distribution or MRO markets).
  • Strong background in business development, account management, and technical sales.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving growth.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities and implement strategies.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and proactive in relationship building.
  • Full UK driver’s licence.
